So Wednesday was SO awesome. Robert and I had planned on going to Warschauer Straße in the evening and have fun. Warschauer Straße is such a great street and always has a lot going on. So, around 8pm Robert and I left, we bought some drinks at a shop down the street and walked to a large bridge near our flat and sat for a little bit to talk and relax. On our way to Warschauer Straße we passed a side street full of tons of people. Robert wanted to see what was going on and so we walked down the street and Robert asked a girl what was going on. She said something and I wasn't really listening. Then he turned to me and said, 'Molly, did you hear what she said, tonight is the Dendemann concert.' ...and we LOVE Dendemann. He is one of Robert's favorites and mine too. Probably my FAVORITE German artist. So so cool. And then I thought about how bad Robert wanted to go before and felt really bad he had forgotten about it. Then he pulled an envelope our of his pocket and pulled two tickets out of the envelope??! Dendemann tickets!!! The concert was amazing, the crowd was insane, and the music was freakin' sick! Such an amazing surprise that was never in 1,000 years expected.
Thursday Germany had a holiday for 'Men's Day,' and so nothing was opened and Robert had off. We spent the day watching girly movies, putting some things together in the flat, and having tasty tacos for dinner!
Friday I received a call from Adlon letting me know that my training will start next Tuesday! I am really excited to finally be starting a job and being paid. Having money of my own.
I have been so busy with getting things ready and putting things together for my job that unfortunately, I have taken no photos. Tomorrow is my first day at the job training! Wish me luck!

Painting, Unpacking and Time with Old Friends
Sunday was a really relaxing day. Robert and I slept until noon and woke up to begin putting the couch together and unpacking some things. It was a little bit stressful going the week without being able to unpack anything. It made the house too cluttered and messy. I wasn't a fan of this at all! It is so nice that we are finally able to start making it into a home! Here is Robert feeling quite exhausted after we have finished unpacking for the day. We definitely have more to do, but 10 hours of going through things were enough for us!!!
Today is mother's day too!! It was a shame my mom wasn't around to spend it with. I definitely thought about her throughout the day though. I normally do anyway, but today I sent some extra special thoughts her way. Below is a picture of my gorgeous mom. Happy Mother's day mama <3

I am here to stay...
So much has been going on lately !!! This past weekend Robert's good friend Leo had a birthday party and I baked him a banana ice cream cake which everyone loved! The picture to the left is of the cake still in the beginning stages! We spent the evening watching a soccer game, eating snacks, talking, laughing and sharing time with friends. We have also moved all of our stuff from Halle to Berlin. We did that Monday the 26th. That took a lot of time, but we had a lot of help from good friends. This is our old apartment all packed and ready to go !
To end our time in Halle we spent the evening with Friend's in the Upper Club. It was a really special evening for Robert. It was his last game which they won and in the Upper Club they surprised him with a really sweet slide show. It was very emotional but was a really good night full of great music and awesome people !
In the end of April I had an interview at Adlon Spa and that went terrifically ! I will begin a four week training soon! The spa was the nicest Spa I have ever seen. It is located next to the Adlon hotel which is amazing. The cheapest room you can stay in costs 520€ and the most expensive coming around 15,000€ a night. And would you believe it, when Queen Elizabeth comes here, that is where she stays!! This is also the same hotel which Michael Jackson held his baby out of the window ! (There are many celebrities who chose this hotel as their preferred place of stay as well as spa!) So, who knows...maybe I will be seeing some famous faces around! The picture above is a small portion of their waiting room. Now that we are in Berlin it is really exciting ! Everything from the old flat is here and we are ready to start a new beginning here in Berlin! I have more friends, the city is larger and full of more opportunity and a new job! Everything feels good and Robert and I are very happy. Robert started working for his sister's company this past monday and his days have been very long. He leaves at 8:30 and returns home around 9pm. But it will only last this week that he is working so long. So, that is good to hear!
Today Robert and I are going to Baummarkt to search for paint colours for the flat. We are thinking neutrals of beige, khaki, brown, grey...etc. We will see what we find. The painter is coming Saturday (tomorrow) morning to paint the flat. While he is here Robert and I will probably go to a park if the weather permits and grill some tasty food and toss the football around (American Football) Saturday evening Robert is going to watch a handball game from a team which is really interested in him and then we will meet up afterwards and possibly go out shortly. Sunday morning Robert and I are going to the flea market and hopefully will enjoy the weekend !!!
I have to apologize for slagging in my post. It has been too hard to post anything in here lately as the last weeks we were moving, we stayed at Robert's parent's house for a week, and then moved to Berlin where we had no Internet for a few days. My posts will be once a week every Sunday Evening (afternoon for you) ..Enjoy !!!
