Monday afternoon I re-arranged the bedroom and living room. Robert will laugh when he sees this, as it is expected. I am ALWAYS moving things around. While I was cleaning I watched a movie. The flat is pretty open so it is easy to hear and see the television most of the time while moving around. I watched the movie, 'Valentines Day' which is adorable! I really really enjoyed it. There is a song by Taylor Swift in it which, once it began I fell in love with. It's so adorable and I would like to learn it on the guitar. Here is a link to the song for you to enjoy:

Around 3pm I went into the city and picked up some things. I am doing a swap with a girl who works for Mac and Sephora in America and gets a huge discount. She is sending me some items and I am sending her some makeup items that I can purchase here made by German companies! I am very excited about this and getting great Mac makeup items at an awesome discount! Here is some of what I have purchased for her:
Tuesday I spent the afternoon walking around some stores and looking for some new summer/spring clothes. I don't really have any, so I need to purchase some soon. Afterwards I read from my book (the 2nd one in the series) which I am NEEDING to finish. I feel like I have been reading it so slowly and now I am at the point where it just needs to be done !
A little before 2pm the ringer went off! This means that either some kid lost his key and needs to get in and so he rings as many doors as possible OR someone has arrived with a package. I almost didn't answer it (figuring it was a joke) but did. And guess what !!?? It WAS a package from my mom and dad!
Man oh man did these people spoil me! Robert and I were sent some of 'Heidi's Homemade Granola,' Best stuff ever! I think my mom should look around and sell it somewhere locally! We also received some yummy toffee! I had to snack on a piece of toffee and then some granola soon after I opened the box! Oh, this is me wearing a new dress my parents bought for me! I LOVE IT! So comfy and shick looking! It is a knit dress with a deep tan colored t-shirt dress underneath! Gorgeous :)
I will not list everything I received from my parents as I would not enjoy bragging, but I received a book that my mom and I have been talking about for SOME time that I have been very interested in reading! I definitely look forward to finishing the series I am reading now so that I can dive into this one! It was SUCH an exciting day. I had no idea that I would be receiving a package so soon and full of SO MANY goodies! In the evening I began feeling very very sick. The moment Robert left for practice I went to bed and laid down. My body had been hurting all day and around 7pm it really got to me. I fell asleep almost instantly and woke up 10 minutes before he would return home (9:50pm) I had to make dinner. I really really didn't want to because I felt so terrible, but didn't want Robert coming home from a hard practice with nothing to eat. I made chicken and red cabbage (one of his favorites) We sat on the couch together while he ate and then he gave me some medicine. I was really burning up and feeling really cold but I was sweating profusely at the same time. I mean DRIPPING with sweat. Once he finished eating, he took me to bed straight away. I fell asleep pretty quickly but woke in the night feeling cold and then covered in sweat (on and off)
Wednesday morning I felt a bit better, but not well enough to go to my German course. So, I stayed in bed most of the day relaxing and reading from my book. Mostly sleeping though. For breakfast I couldn't resist but have some wildberry joghurt with some fabulous homemade granola. My god was it fabulous! Around noon I decided to get out of bed and into some normal clothes. What did I put on you ask ??!!! Some amazing purple tights my parents sent me along with a black t-shirt material long sleeved dress! I LOVE IT:
I couldn't take a full picture of myself because well, that is really hard to do on your own! So that is why I am always sitting in these!!! Hopefully these will do !
A week ago I won a contest over youtube (from the same girl I am doing the swap with) and was sent a prize for winning. I could chose any item from Mac for under 30$ I chose a Lipstick in the shade 'Angel,' I just received it in the mail today and I LOVE IT! Around 3pm I wrapped all of the makeup goodies that I am swapping with my friend and got them ready to send out!! I have no idea what she is getting me, but I KNOW it will be some amazing stuff and will be sure to post pictures as soon as I receive everything! Tomorrow is the day we will be sending each others items out to each other! A little before 6 pm Robert arrived home. He had to leave almost straight away because he had a handball tournament this evening. While he was gone I painted a card to send in the box for the girl I am swapping with, listened to some music, and cooked Mushroom Fettucini Alfredo for dinner! Robert arrived home around 10 pm, we ate dinner and then looked over my resume which we are translating together to send out to some Spas!
